According to the National Health and Morbidity Survey (NHMS) 2023, about 1 in 3 Malaysian adults is living with hypertension. A significant portion of undiagnosed cases comes from those aged 18 to 39. Many in this group feel healthy and do not go for regular screenings, which means the condition often goes unnoticed.
