  • UN World Population Prospects 2024, medium variant. National sources include BPS Indonesia (2020–2050 projection), DOSM Malaysia (2020–2060), Philippine Statistics Authority (2020-based, Scenario 2), Singapore Department of Statistics, Thailand NSO 2025 census, and departmental data from Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao PDR, and Vietnam's GSO.

A reconciled demographic projection for all eleven ASEAN members, anchored to the UN World Population Prospects 2024 medium variant.  Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam account for most of the absolute regional growth. Thailand is the clearest contraction case. Singapore remains essentially flat.
