Christianity remains the world’s largest religion, with its followers spread across every continent. The data shows that countries with the biggest Christian populations are not only found in traditionally “Western” nations, but also across Latin America and the Global South.

The United States ranks first, with around 219 million Christians, making it the single largest Christian population in the world. Brazil follows in second place with about 169 million Christians, reflecting the deep historical influence of Christianity in Latin America.
