Love and fulfilling relationships remain an important part of personal well-being around the world. According to the Ipsos Love Life Satisfaction Index 2026, several countries stand out for reporting exceptionally high levels of satisfaction with their romantic lives.

The index combines people's perceptions of feeling loved, satisfaction with their romantic or sex life, and satisfaction with their spouse or partner into a single score, offering a broad measure of relationship fulfillment.

Thailand ranks first globally with a score of 86, making it the world's most romantically satisfied nation. The country consistently performs well across measures of relationship happiness, with respondents expressing strong satisfaction with both their partners and their overall love lives.

Close behind is Indonesia, which scores 85, highlighting Southeast Asia's strong performance in the index. The high ranking suggests that Indonesians generally feel positive about their romantic relationships and emotional connections.

Latin America continues to demonstrate remarkable relationship satisfaction. Mexico and Spain share third place with scores of 81, followed by Colombia at 80 and Peru at 79.

These results indicate that respondents in these countries generally report strong emotional bonds and fulfilling romantic relationships, reinforcing the region's reputation for placing a high value on close personal connections.

Two countries share the next position with scores of 78: Malaysia and the Netherlands. Although they differ significantly in geography and culture, both nations demonstrate similarly high levels of romantic satisfaction, suggesting that healthy relationships can thrive under diverse social and cultural conditions.

Completing the top ten are Chile and South Africa, each earning a score of 76. Their inclusion illustrates that relationship satisfaction is not confined to one region but is experienced across multiple continents and cultural backgrounds.
