Southeast Asia continues to strengthen its position as one of the world's most dynamic economic regions, supported by rapid wealth creation, expanding investment opportunities, and growing entrepreneurial activity.

A key indicator of this prosperity is the number of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), typically defined as people with investable assets exceeding US$30 million.

Among Southeast Asian countries, Singapore stands out as the clear leader, with 7,171 UHNW individuals. The city-state has established itself as a global financial hub, attracting wealthy entrepreneurs, investors, and family offices from around the world.

Its stable political environment, business-friendly regulations, and strong financial infrastructure continue to make it a preferred destination for wealth preservation and growth.

Indonesia ranks second in the region with 3,833 UHNW individuals. As Southeast Asia's largest economy and most populous nation, Indonesia has seen significant wealth creation driven by sectors such as natural resources, manufacturing, technology, and consumer services.

The country's growing middle class and expanding digital economy have also contributed to the rise of high-net-worth entrepreneurs and investors.

Thailand follows with 2,853 UHNW individuals. The country's wealth is supported by strong industries including tourism, real estate, manufacturing, and agriculture. Bangkok remains a major economic center that continues to attract both domestic and international investment.

The Philippines records 1,910 UHNW individuals, reflecting the country's steady economic development and the success of major business conglomerates. Growth in real estate, financial services, telecommunications, and overseas remittances has contributed to the accumulation of private wealth.

Malaysia is home to 1,566 UHNW individuals. The country's diversified economy, supported by sectors such as energy, finance, manufacturing, and technology, has enabled the creation of substantial private wealth over the years. Kuala Lumpur remains an important regional business and financial center.

Vietnam rounds out the list with 1,233 UHNW individuals. Although it has the smallest UHNW population among these six countries, Vietnam has experienced some of the fastest economic growth in the region.

The country's expanding manufacturing base, increasing foreign investment, and growing entrepreneurial ecosystem suggest strong potential for future wealth creation.

Together, these six countries account for more than 18,500 ultra high net worth individuals, highlighting Southeast Asia's increasing importance in the global wealth landscape. As economic growth and innovation continue across the region, the number of UHNW individuals is expected to rise further in the coming years.
