Southeast Asia continues to strengthen its position as one of the world's most dynamic economic regions, supported by rapid urbanization, rising consumer demand, digital transformation, and infrastructure development.

Recent economic data highlight several industries that are experiencing remarkable growth, reflecting the region's expanding opportunities for businesses, investors, and workers alike.

Leading the way is the Accommodation and Food Service sector, which recorded the highest growth rate of 8.62%. The industry's strong performance is fueled by the continued recovery of international tourism, increasing domestic travel, and growing demand for restaurants, hotels, and hospitality services across major destinations in the region.

Close behind is Transportation and Storage, which expanded by 8.61%. The growth is driven by booming e-commerce, greater regional trade, and increasing investments in logistics networks, ports, airports, and supply chain infrastructure that support both domestic and international commerce.

The Construction sector follows with an impressive 7.51% growth. Governments and private investors continue to fund major infrastructure projects, residential developments, commercial buildings, and industrial parks to accommodate expanding urban populations and economic activity.

Essential utility services also remain on an upward trend. Electricity and Water Supply grew by 6.06%, supported by rising energy consumption, renewable energy projects, and expanded access to clean water in both urban and rural communities.

Meanwhile, Information and Communication recorded 5.75% growth as businesses and consumers increasingly embrace digital technologies, cloud computing, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and high-speed internet services. The region's thriving digital economy continues to attract significant investment from both local and international companies.

The Public Administration and Other Services sector grew by 5.05%, reflecting expanding government services, healthcare, education, and community support programs. Wholesale and Retail Trade followed with 4.89%, benefiting from strong consumer spending and the rapid expansion of online and offline retail channels.

Industrial production also remains resilient. Manufacturing expanded by 4.72%, supported by exports, electronics production, automotive manufacturing, and diversified supply chains. Real Estate recorded 4.46% growth, driven by ongoing demand for residential housing, office spaces, and mixed-use developments.

Resource-based industries continue to contribute to regional economies. Mining and Quarrying grew by 3.69%, reflecting steady demand for minerals and construction materials. Finally, Agriculture, Forestry, and Fishing increased by 0.82%.

Although it recorded the slowest growth among the major sectors, it remains vital for food security, rural employment, and export earnings throughout Southeast Asia.

Together, these industries illustrate the diversity and resilience of Southeast Asia's economy, with services, infrastructure, technology, and manufacturing serving as the primary engines of sustainable long-term growth.
