Timor Leste becomes the most free country in Southeast Asia in 2024!

According to the report from Freedom House entitled ‘Freedom in the World 2024,’ Timor Leste becomes the freest country in Southeast Asia with a freedom index score reaching 72 points.

The calculation of the freedom index score is conducted for 195 countries. Determination of the index looks at political rights and civil liberties within a country or region.
