Myanmar Tops Southeast Asia in Terrorism Impact for 2024!

According to the Global Terrorism Index 2024 report published by the Institute for Economics & Peace, Myanmar is the country in Southeast Asia with the highest terrorism impact, scoring 7.536 and ranking 9th in the world, followed by the Philippines at 19th in the world with a score of 5.383, and Thailand at 28th with a score of 4.219.

Global Terrorism Index 2024 ranks 163 countries based on four indicators over five years: number of terrorist incidents, fatalities, injuries and hostages.
