Southeast Asia remains one of the world’s most dynamic economic regions, with major corporations driving growth across energy, agriculture, finance, retail, manufacturing, and infrastructure.

According to the 2026 Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking, the region’s largest companies generated hundreds of billions of dollars in revenue and played a crucial role in regional development.

At the top of the list is Trafigura Group, a Singapore-based commodity trading giant. The company retained the number one position for the third consecutive year, reporting approximately US$240 billion in revenue. Its extensive global network in energy, metals, and minerals trading has made it a dominant force in international commodity markets.

Second place belongs to PTT, Thailand’s leading state-owned energy corporation. Closely following is Pertamina, Indonesia’s national oil and gas company. Both firms are essential to regional energy security and continue to invest in cleaner energy initiatives while maintaining strong positions in traditional fuel markets.

Singapore’s agribusiness sector is represented by Wilmar International and Olam Group, ranked fourth and fifth respectively. These companies are major players in global food supply chains, managing agricultural commodities, food ingredients, and processing operations across multiple continents.

Indonesia’s utility giant PLN ranks sixth. As the country’s primary electricity provider, PLN plays a critical role in supporting Indonesia’s industrialization and energy transition.

The retail sector is represented by CP ALL, operator of Thailand’s extensive 7-Eleven network. Its strong consumer presence highlights the importance of retail and domestic consumption in Southeast Asia’s economy.

In financial services, DBS Group Holdings stands out as the region’s largest bank by assets and one of its most profitable corporations. Meanwhile, Flex demonstrates Southeast Asia’s growing importance in global electronics manufacturing and supply chains.

Completing the top ten is Top Frontier Investment Holdings, a diversified Philippine holding company with interests in infrastructure, mining, and other strategic industries. Together, these ten companies showcase the diversity, resilience, and global influence of Southeast Asia’s corporate landscape in 2026.
